Nexus is not an official SRMIST service. It presents academic information from connected portals, but the university remains the authority for attendance, marks, registration and timetable decisions.

Academic sync is read-only

The academic dashboard retrieves records to display them. It does not edit your official attendance or marks. Other optional features, such as parking bookings or friend requests, have their own actions; review the action before submitting it.

Sessions and saved records

Nexus uses browser storage, server-side portal sessions and academic snapshots to support your workspace. A failed refresh can leave a saved record visible. Check the update time and any error message before treating data as current.

Session expiry or university session limits can require you to sign in again. Nexus cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party portals.

Explore and ask for help

The sample dashboard lets you explore example data without connecting a student account. It does not verify your own academic records.
