How Nexus handles account information, academic records and support messages.

Updated 25 October 2026.

Google and Academia accounts

Google sign-in creates a Nexus account through Firebase Authentication. Nexus receives your verified Google email and provider account ID; your Google password is not sent to Nexus. This account is separate from Academia. If you choose to connect Academia, your NetID and password are sent to the Nexus backend to authenticate with SRM. Portal session details and encrypted credentials may be stored on the server for refresh and recovery. You can disconnect the academic portal later.

Academic records and saved data

Nexus processes profile details, registered courses, attendance, marks and timetable information to display your academic workspace. Academic snapshots and caches can be stored both in your browser and on the server. A saved record is not necessarily a fresh portal response; check its update time.

If you sign in, the manual attendance planner can store one plan containing the class counts, target and future scenario you entered. Restore or delete it from the planner. Optional integrations process the information needed for the feature you choose. Review the relevant connection controls before enabling an integration or sharing information with friends.

Usage records and support

Nexus records account-associated sign-ins, foreground activity and academic request outcomes to understand usage and investigate failures. These records are not all anonymous. Usage summaries are retained for up to 400 days and detailed activity events for up to 90 days.

Support messages and replies are associated with your account and visible to the Nexus administrators who handle support. Do not include passwords, login codes or session tokens in messages.

Browser storage and advertising

Browser storage is used for sign-in state, saved records and preferences. This notice does not claim that browser storage is encrypted. Signing out or clearing local storage does not delete all server records.

Nexus is applying to use Google AdSense. If Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads based on those visits. You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center, or visit AboutAds choices for participating third-party providers. Ad serving can also involve web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s advertising privacy information. Advertising must remain disabled until approval and applicable consent requirements are addressed.

Your choices and questions

Use the connection settings to manage connected portals and sign out when finished on a shared device. For questions about your information or an account deletion request, email nithish687894@gmail.com without signing in, or use Support from your account. Do not send passwords, login codes or session tokens by email. Disconnecting a portal is different from deleting your Nexus account and its server records.
